The Ormskirk heat of the 2015 MIMIR Trophy will take place at the Greyhound in Ormskirk on Wednesday February 18th starting at 7 45 pm. The draw will contain 16 players. A window for entries will be open between February 8th and 15th.

Division 1:- Old Dog remain top after their high scoring win over Greyhound in which Pat Gibson scored 17 and John Wilson 16 for Old Dog, Tony Grieco replying with16 for Greyhound. Unison stay second after a comfortable win over Helenians in which Darren Martin scored an impressive 25 points. Despite 19 points from Janet Crompton, Squigglers went down to Newburgh Lions for whom Jim Maloney scored a staggering 30 points. David Hodgson's 21 points was a significant factor in Rugby Hounds' comfortable win over Ormskirk Tennis Club. In a close game Farmers Arms beat Robin Hood.
Division 2:- A three man Abbey Saints beat a three man Red Lion Bulldogs, Kevin Walton scoring 15 for the Saints. Tuesday's quiz produced low scores. Whippet beat Benchwarmers thanks to 15 points from Bob Edge. 15 points from Alan Thompson ensured Ormskirk Theatre Company’s win over Aughton Institute. Gang of Four stay second after their win over Parbold Exiles.

Division 1:- Helenians had a much needed victory over Farmers Arms, Mike Flaherty scoring 17 for the winners. Old Dog stay top after their win over Squigglers for whom Janet Crompton scored 19; John Wilson scored 15 for Old Dog. Unison overcame Greyhound and stay second; Darren Martin’s 19 points was the main contribution for Unison. 17 points from Jim Maloney was a significant factor in Newburgh Lions' easy win over Ormskirk Tennis Club.
Division 2:- Abbey Sinners lost their first game of the season going down to Gang of Four for whom Rob Jones scored 15 points. Whippet beat Ormskirk Farmers thanks to an impressive 17 points from Charlie McAuley. An all round team performance, with all four players scoring double points, saw Abbey Saints home against OCC, for whom Val Hyson scored 15. Gordon Richards’ 15 points saw Aughton Institute victorious over Red Lion Bulldogs. Thanks to 16 points from Rob Green, Benchwarmers registered their first point of the season by drawing with Ormskirk Theatre Company.

Division 1:-Unison ended Old Dog’s unbeaten sequence with a victory in which Peter Duffy scored 17 and Darren Martin 16 for the winners. Squigglers stay third after their win over Ormskirk Tennis Club, Brian Fitton scoring 15 for Squigglers. Robin Hood, thanks to 15 from Roy Atherton,beat Rugby Hounds for whom David Hodgson scored 16 points. 17 from Andy Francis and 15 from Tony Grieco saw Greyhound home against Farmers Arms.
Division 2:- The ‘Abbey Derby’ ended in a draw, Bill Gerrard scoring 15 points for the Sinners and Barbara Flaherty 14 for the Saints. Gang of Four move to second after their win over OCC, Matt Cochrane scoring 11 for the winners. An impressive 18 points from Alan Thompson was a significant factor in Ormskirk Theatre Company’s win over Red Lion Bulldogs. Aughton Institute won at Parbold Exiles thanks to 18 points from Gordon Richards.

The battle for second was resolved in Unison’s favour despite Brian Fitton’s 16 points for Squigglers; Peter Duffy scored 16 for Unison. Jim Maloney’s 22 points was a significant factor in Newburgh Lions win over Robin Hood. In a close game Rugby Hounds won against Helenians, thanks to 16 points from Eric Lupton. Colly Wobblers narrowly beat a three man Greyhound for whom Tony Grieco scored 16.
Division 2:- Abbey Sinners remain undefeated with their win over Aughton Institute. The Tuesday quiz produced low scoring games; Ormskirk Theatre Company beat Parbold Exiles and Red Lion Bulldogs beat Benchwarmers by a single point.
