All matches were won by the higher placed team in the League table, the closest being the local derby at the Delph where Colly Wobblers won by two points despite 21 points from Paul McAteer for the Delph Tavern, Mike Unsworth scored 16 and Roy Atherton 12 for the winners. Three points separated Turks Head Saints and Helenians. Mike Flaherty scored 14 for Helenians in a losing cause and Clive Walton 12 for Saints. Janet Crompton scored 17 for Scarecrows in their victory over Ormskirk Theatre Company. Despite 13 from Ann Frank, Hayfield Gang went down to Greyhound for whom John Wilson scored 16 and Ritchie Venner 15. The addition of handicaps reversed these four results. The highest individual score of the week was 26 from Darren Martin for Newburgh Lions in their win at Rugby Hounds, supported by 12 from Jim Maloney. David Hodgson managed 15 in defeat. Peter Duffy almost matched Darren with 24 for Turks Head Sinners in their victory against Benchwarmers, assisted by Dave Waddilove (16).
