Greyhound's unbeaten start ended when they lost by one point to Wheatsheaf, on the last question! Colly Wobblers move up to 4th with a narrow victory over Farmers Arms.
Division 2 Newburgh Lions remain unbeaten with a comfortable win over Parbold Exiles, Jim Maloney top scoring for the Lions with 23. Abbey Saints remain in second place defeating Red Lion (Burscough), Kevin Walton scoring 19 for Saints. Abbey Sinners move up to 3rd, winning a close match with Whippet. Elsewhere, Gordon Richards scored 23 for Aughton Institute in an easy win over Ormskirk Theatre Company.
