Division 1:- Unison remain top on points difference after their comfortable win over Robin Hood; top scorers were Alan Gibbs (21) and Darren Martin (18) for the winners. Colly Wobblers, all of whose players registered double figure scores, led by Mike Unsworth (17) also had a comfortable win this time over Newburgh Lions. Likewise Greyhound with all their players in double figures of whom John Wilson top scored with 18 points, easily overcame Rugby Hounds. Whippet pulled off a remarkable recovery, winning the last round 7-0 to achieve a draw with Turks Head Sinners; Gordon Richards top scored with 16 points for Whippet. In the postponed game Rugby Hounds, for whom Eric Lupton scored 20 points beat the still winless Turks Head Saints; Barbara Flaherty scoring 15 for the Saints.
Division 2:- Helenians remain top and unbeaten after their win over Ormskirk Tennis Club who suffered their first defeat; Dave Boyd top scored for the winners with 20 points, while Keith Mountain scored 14 for the Tennis Club. Benchwarmers registered their first win by beating Aughton Institute thanks to an impressive 22 points from Mike Wall. Squigglers, thanks to 15 points from Janet Crompton, overcame Bispham Farmers Arms. Ormskirk Theatre Company beat Hayfield by the narrowest of margins thanks to 20 points from Alan Thompson.

The Ormskirk team of Alan Gibbs, Pat Gibson, Alan Thompson and Madeline Evans fell just short of retaining the title, losing in the semi-final to the eventual winners Teesside. Pat Gibson retained the award for Best Individual Performance. Full results are here.

Division 1:- Unison assume top spot after their win over Turks Head Saints thanks to an outstanding 25 points and full house from Darren Martin and 17 from Charles Johnson. Greyhound go second after beating Colly Wobblers; top scorers were John Wilson (18) and Brian Farrimond (16) for the winners. Robin Hood maintained fourth position after beating a three man Newburgh Lions, for whom Dave Sinclair scored 18 and Jim Maloney 16. Bill Gerrard’s impressive 23 points earned Turks Head Sinners a win over Rugby Hounds.
Division 2:- Helenians maintained their 100% record and return to first in the table after beating Bispham Farmers Arms; Dave Boyd scored 14 for the winners. 13 points from Keith Mountain helped Ormskirk Tennis Club narrowly overcome Aughton Institute. In the other game Hayfield beat Benchwarmers.

Division 1:- Colly Wobblers unbeaten run came to an end after they were well beaten by Rugby Hounds, for whom Bruce Covey scored 15. High scoring from Darren Martin (16), Charles Johnson (15) and Alan Gibbs (16) assured Unison’s victory over Whippet, for whom Debbie Davidson scored 15. 22 points from John Wilson and 16 from Mal Collier was a major factor in Greyhound’s win over Robin Hood. The two sides without a win met and Newburgh emerged the winners over Turks Head Saints, thanks to 22 points from Jim Maloney.
Division 2:- With Helenians not playing, Squigglers took the opportunity to go top on points difference after beating Ormskirk Theatre Company, for whom Alan Thompson scored 17; Janet Crompton scored an impressive 22 points for the winners. Ormskirk Tennis Club are also unbeaten after their victory over Bispham Farmers Arms; Paul Prior scored 15 for the winners.
