Division 1:- 18 points from David Sinclair and 16 from Jim Maloney was enough to see Newburgh Lions home against Rugby Hounds, for whom David Hodgson scored 15. With Unison not playing, Colly Wobblers return to the top after their win over Squigglers, Pat Gibson scoring 20 for the winners. Robin Hood got off the mark with a win over Abbey Sinners. Greyhound, thanks to 17 from John Wilson beat Helenians.
Division 2:- Whippet, for whom Gordon Richards scored an impressive 24 points, move back to the top after their win over Ormskirk Tennis Club. In the other games Red Lion Bulldogs beat Ormskirk Farmers, Gang of Four beat Ormskirk Theatre Company and OCC recorded their first win, beating Benchwarmers.

Ormskirk beat Warrington by 49 points to 29. Pat Gibson was the highest scorer with 19 points. The next two fixtures are both against Southport & Formby who also have a 100% record.

Division 1:- David Sinclair’s 19 points helped Newburgh Lions narrowly beat Robin Hood for whom Roy Atherton scored 15. Unison, thanks to 24 from Darren Martin, beat Helenians and move to top of the table. In the Tuesday quiz Greyhound lost to Abbey Sinners.
Division 2:- Whippet’s unbeaten run came to an end, as they were narrowly beaten by Gang of Four; Eric Moore scored 15 for the winners and Gordon Richards 16 for the losers. Benchwarmers made it back to back wins, when they beat Ormskirk Farmers; Mike Wall scored 15 for Benchwarmers. 14 points from Dave Cockram helped Parbold Exiles overcome Ormskirk Cricket Club. Aughton Institute lost to Red Lion Bulldogs for whom Steve Garrett scored 17 points.

Both Ormskirk teams won their first match. Colly Wobblers beat Oxton Cons by 60 points to 43 with Mike Unsworth (21) and Pat Gibson(17) leading the scorers. Unison beat Aigburth People by 55 points to 40 with Darren Martin (21) as top scorer.

Division 1:- Both this week’s quizzes proved quite challenging. Abbey Sinners lost narrowly to Helenians. Squigglers beat Robin Hood thanks to 21 from Janet Crompton. 21 points from Darren Martin saw Unison comfortable victors over Abbey Saints. Greyhound saw off Newburgh Lions, John Wilson scoring an impressive 28 points for Greyhound
Division 2:- In low scoring games, Ormskirk Theatre Company beat Red Lion Bulldogs, Ormskirk Farmers beat Parbold Exiles and Benchwarmers, with 15 from Rob Green, opened their account with a win over Aughton Institute.
