Ormskirk win!!
The final evening began with Ormskirk needing to win both matches. Liverpool 2A were beaten 54-39, Bill Gerrard scoring 24 including a full house of all his own questions.
Wirral also won their match so the two teams faced off. Ormskirk won 55-43 with 18 from Bill Gerrard and 16 from Debbie Davidson. The margin of victory denied Wirral a losing bonus point, so Ormskirk are the champions by one point.
The top four teams will play in the Presidential Challenge next month.
The squad was Bill Gerrard and Francis Williams (Turks Head Sinners), Alf Westwell (Helenians), Alan Thompson (Ormskirk Theatre Company) and Debbie Davidson (Whippet).
