Colly Wobblers and Unison have joined Abbey Sinners in the quarter finals after the final round of group matches. Colly Wobblers won their group by beating Yarboroughs from Warrington by 49 to 39, Pat Gibson leading the way with 24. Unison beat E Street Band from Southport by 44 to 31 with all four players getting a double figure score to be runner up in their group. Abbey Sinners were also runner up in their group, losing to group winner Wings from Southport by 34 to 42.

Division 1:- 18 points from Charles Johnson saw Unison victorious over Squigglers. Greyhound had a comfortable win over a three man Robin Hood; Ritchie Venner (20) and John Wilson (17) led the scoring for Greyhound.
Division 2:- In the top of the table clash, Gang of Four emerged victorious over Abbey Saints and extend their lead at the top of the table; Matt Cochrane scored 16 points for the winners and Clive Walton replied with 15 for the Saints. Ormskirk Tennis Club move up to second after their win over Ormskirk Farmers; Paul Prior scored 16 for the winners. 18 points from Dave Berrington saw OCC home by the narrowest of margins over Aughton Institute for whom Jim Gray scored 16.

There will be a Christmas Charity Quiz on Monday December 19th at Unison Club in St Helens at 8 pm with buffet and raffle. Proceeds to Douglas Valley Lions Club. The cost will be £3 per head.

Division 1:- Unison remain top after overcoming Whippet in the last two rounds; Alan Gibbs scored 18 for Unison. Greyhound stay second after their win over Colly Wobblers, for whom Pat Gibson scored 18, while John Wilson scored 19 for the winners. Helenians, with all four players registering double figure scores, had their first win of the season when they beat Rugby Hounds for whom David Hodgson scored 20 points. Robin Hood beat Squigglers; Carl Rennox scoring 16 for the winners and Janet Crompton replied with 17 for Squigglers. In the other game Newburgh Lions were victorious over Abbey Sinners.
Division 2:-Gang of Four reclaim top spot after their win over Parbold Exiles. Ormskirk Tennis Club, thanks to 19 from Paul Prior, overcame Abbey Saints. Despite 20 points from Alan Thompson, Ormskirk Theatre Company lost by the narrowest of margins to Legion Lions.In the other games Benchwarmers beat Ormskirk Farmers and OCC beat Aughton Institute

In the return fixture from two weeks ago Ormskirk beat Warrington by 51 points to 35. Charles Johnson scored 19 and Pat Gibson scored 15.
