Despite 16 from Pat Gibson and 15 from Gary Grant, Colly Wobblers failed to make any impression on Whippet’s 8 points start, in the end losing by 17; Peter Duffy scored 18 for the winners, all of whose players registered double figure scores. Unison overcame Robin Hood’s 14 point start to win by 11, thanks to 16 points each from Darren Martin and Madeline Evans; Paul McAteer scored 18 for the losers. Squigglers hung on to their 2 point start over Rugby Hounds running out winners by 3 points. Ormskirk Tennis Club easily overhauled Gang of Four’s one point start, running out comfortable winners thanks to 17 from Paul Prior.

Three Ormskirk teams have entered this retitled competition which is being run using a Swiss system and all were victorious.
Colly Wobblers beat Fishermen's Rest (Southport & Formby) 56-35 with 21 from Pat Gibson and 15 from Gary Grant. Greyhound made their online debut and beat Soapsuds (Wirral) 45-40. Unison beat Aigburth People (Liverpool) 50-40 with 15 each from Darren Martin and Alan Gibbs.

Rugby Hounds top the table again after their win over Ormskirk Tennis Club; Eric Lupton scored 19 for the winners, while Paul Prior registered 17 for the Tennis Club. Pat Gibson’s 17 points enabled Colly Wobblers’ win over Unison for whom Charles Johnson also scored 17. Rob Jones’ 19 points helped Gang of Four to a victory over Squigglers and as a result move to second place only separated by points difference from leaders Rugby Hounds; Barry Marshall scored 15 for Squigglers. Robin Hood overcame Ormskirk Theatre Company’s five point lead winning by 8 points; Kathy Smith led the scoring with 18 points for the winners.
