Division 1 :- A significant contribution of 19 points including a full house from John Wilson enabled Greyhound’s win over Rugby Hounds, for whom David Hodgson scored 16; as a result Greyhound remain top. High scoring from Darren Martin (23) and Charles Johnson (17) ensured Unison a comfortable win over Scarecows, for whom Janet Crompton scored 18 and Barry Marshall 16; Unison remain in second. Despite 16 points from Jim Maloney, Newburgh Lions lost to Robin Hood, all of whose players scored in double figures. Bill Gerrard’s 21 points wasn’t quite enough to earn Turks Head Sinners a win over Colly Wobblers, for whom Mike Unsworth scored 19 and Andy McGowan 15.
Division 2 :- Despite 20 points from Gordon Richards Ormskirk Theatre Company lost to Turks Head Saints, for whom Kevin Walton scored 16; as a result the Saints remain top by a single point. Ormskirk Tennis Club remain second after their win over Bispham Eagles; Sarah Lawton scored 16 for the winners. 18 points from Mike Flaherty earned Helenians a win over Benchwarmers. In the other game Aughton Institute beat Hayfield Gang, with Dave Berrington scoring 20 for the winners and Rob Jones adding 12 to the Hayfield's total.

Division 1 :- Despite 18 points from Bill Gerrard, Turks Head Sinners lost to Greyhound, who remain at the top of the table. 17 points from Darren Martin enabled Unison’s win over Colly Wobblers. 16 points from Jim Maloney greatly helped Newburgh Lions to a victory over Scarecrows. Robin Hood continued their excellent run and move into third place with a victory over Rugby Hounds, for whom David Hodgson scored 16.
Division 2 :- 20 points from Barbara Flaherty and 19 from Kevin Walton helped Turks Head Sinners to a comfortable win over Helenians, for whom Alf Westwell scored 15. An amazing 28 points from Paul Prior and 12 from Dave Gordon enabled Ormskirk Tennis Club’s win over Benchwarmers. Hayfield Gang, thanks to 16 points from Andrew Sackville beat Bispham Eagles. Ormskirk Theatre Company overcame Aughton Institute with Gordon Richards scoring 13 for the winners. In a game postponed from September Ormskirk Theatre Company again beat Aughton Institute, this time comfortably; Gordon Richards again scoring well with 21 points.

Both Ormskirk teams who played in the final week of league matches won comfortably. Greyhound had a bye.
Colly Wobblers beat Aardvarks (Wirral) 50-41 with Pat Gibson scoring 18. Unison beat Exiles (Liverpool) 42-34 in a three-a side match with Alan Gibbs scoring 23.
All three teams qualify for the quarter finals.
