MIMIR Trophy

Pat Gibson (Old Dog) won the MQL MIMIR Trophy for the third consecutive season, bringing his total number of wins to six. This equals the record of Ray Oakes (Old Dog) who was the runner up.

Feeny Cup and Rendon Cup

Old Dog won the MQL Feeny Cup.

Abbey Sinners won the MQL Rendon Cup.

Presentation Night

Forty five people representing fourteen teams enjoyed the evening.

Both matches were very close contests. In the Plate Final Abbey Sinners and Rugby Hounds were level at 58 points each after 8 rounds. Rugby Hounds took round 9 to win by 65 to 62.

In the Trophy Final Unison just failed to overcome the handicap of 31 points, Red Lion Bulldogs winning 65 to 64.

Trophies were presented by Cliff Houghton, General Secretary of MQL and his wife Angela.

Feeny Cup and Rendon Cup

In the Feeny Cup Colly Wobblers won their group on points difference after each team won one match. Old Dog also qualified for the finals.

In the Rendon Cup Abbey Saints  and Abbey Sinners both won their group in a knock out as only two teams turned up.
