Division 1:- Unison stay top after their victory over Rugby Hounds ; Darren Martin scored an impressive 25 points for the winners while Colin McDonald scored 16 for the losers. Jim Maloney’s 19 points was enough to help Newburgh Lions overcome a depleted Helenians team for whom Mike Flaherty scored 16. Squigglers beat Abbey Sinners; Janet Crompton scoring 20 for Squigglers and Bill Gerrard 18 for the Sinners. Pat Gibson’s 16 points helped Colly Wobblers overcome Abbey Saints.
Division 2:- Whippet stay top after their win over Ormskirk Farmers; Debbie Davidson scored 18 for the winners. Gang of Four stay a point behind after winning their match with Red Lion Bulldogs for whom Steve Garrett scored 15. Mainly due to excellent 24 points from Paul Prior, Ormskirk Tennis Club beat Aughton Institute.

The Ormskirk heat of the MIMIR Trophy will take place at the Greyhound in Ormskirk on Wednesday February 17th. A window for individual entries will be available early that month.
The end of season Presentation Night will take place at Aughton Institute on Monday April 18th.

Division 1:- 17 points from David Hodgson and 16 from Eric Lupton wasn’t quite enough for Rugby Hounds, who lost narrowly to Squigglers.
Division 2:- Ormskirk Tennis Club beat Benchwarmers thanks to 23 from Paul Prior and 15 from Sarah Lawton.

In the final matches in the group stages both Ormskirk teams won and head their groups going into the quarter finals. Colly Wobblers beat Yarboroughs (Warrington) 48-37 with Pat Gibson contributing 19 points. Unison beat E Street Band (Southport & Formby) 42-32.
In the quarterfinals Colly Wobblers play Wings (Southport & Formby) and Unison play Wallaseyans (Wirral) on February 10th.

Division 1:- Unison regained the leader’s slot after two victories over Robin Hood, Darren Martin led the scoring with 20 points in the first game and a remarkable 25 in the second. 16 points from David Hodgson was the main contribution to Rugby Hounds win over Abbey Saints. Despite 16 from Jim Maloney, Newburgh Lions lost to Squigglers. Pat Gibson’s 21 points was enough for Colly Wobblers to beat a depleted Helenians team for whom Dave Boyd scored 16.
Division 2:- Whippet remain top after their win over Aughton Institute. Alan Thompson’s 15 points wasn’t enough for Ormskirk Theatre Company to secure a victory over Ormskirk Tennis Club. In a low scoring game, Gang of Four beat OCC. Benchwarmers ended Red Lion Bulldogs winning run with the narrowest of wins.
