Pat Gibson (Colly Wobblers) with 17 points won a record seventh MIMIR Trophy in a high scoring close contest by one point from Karl Whelan (Wirral), a former Ormskirk League player with Old Dog. John Wilson (Greyhound) was third with 13.

Colly Wobblers came second in this season’s competition, going down 40-50 to Victorian Cricketers (Liverpool) despite 20 from Pat Gibson.

Colly Wobblers finished second in the finals of the Feeny Cup. In the first match they lost 44-49 to Kluggers (Liverpool), the eventual winners, despite 20 from Pat Gibson. In the second match they beat replacement team Wings (S&F) 49-48 with Mike Unsworth scoring 19.

Congratulations to Abbey Sinners who beat Rugby Hounds 40-35 to win the Cup. Bill Gerrard scored 21 for Sinners and Eric Lupton 16 for Hounds.
