21 points and a full house from Darren Martin plus 14 from Gareth Flynn earned Newburgh Lions a win over Turks head Sinners, for whom Francis Williams scored 14 and Peter Duffy 13. In a very high scoring game (105 points scored in total) all eight players scored in double figures led by 22 points and a second successive full house from John Wilson, saw Greyhound overcome Delph Tavern, Paul McAteer scoring 18 for the Delph. The results of these games were unchanged when handicaps were applied. All of Rugby Hounds players registered double figure scores too, led by Eric Lupton (17) and David Hodgson (15) in their convincing win over Hayfield Gang for whom Matt Cochrane and Ann Frank both scored 14. The result was reversed on handicap. Again with all four players scoring in double figures led by Barbara Flaherty (17) and Charles Johnson (16), Turks Head Saints defeated Benchwarmers, for whom David Green scored 14. Despite 19 points from Alf Westwell, Helenians lost to Ormskirk Theatre Company, for whom Gordon Richards scored 16 and Lynne Hawkes 14. The handicap results of these two games remains unchanged.
