The only home winners were Colly Wobblers who beat Helenians 50-39 thanks to 20 points from Pat Gibson supported by Andy McGowan with 12. Mike Flaherty scored 16 and Bob Foster 15 for Helenians. Newburgh Lions beat Hayfield Gang 46-38, Darren Martin scoring 16 for the winners, with Rob Jones (14) and Danny Fearns (12) scoring well for the Gang. Both results were overturned when the handicaps were included. Delph Tavern beat Benchwarmers 49-25, with Paul McAteer and Mike Preston both on 15, supported by 13 from Tom Evans for the Delph, Rob Green replied with 12. The handicap result was a draw. Scarecrows won 50-42 away at Turks Head Sinners led by 19 from Janet Crompton, with 13 from Barry Marshall and 12 from Magnus Brass. Francis Williams scored 13 and Dave Waddilove 12 for Sinners. All four Greyhound players achieved double figures in a 55-32 win against Ormskirk Theatre Company, John Wilson top scored with 17 followed by Brian Farrimond with 15 and Ritchie Venner with 13. Turks Head Saints won comfortably at Rugby Hounds 51-39 thanks largely to the highest score of the week, 22, from Charles Johnson, Eric Lupton scored 14 for the home team.
