Colly Wobblers regained top spot after their victory over Ormskirk Theatre Company. 15 points from Paul McAteer was instrumental in Delph Tavern’s victory over Helenians, for whom Alf Westwell scored 15. Despite 13 points from Charles Johnson and 12 from Barbara Flaherty, Turks Head Saints lost to Greyhound, for whom John Wilson scored 16 and as a result Greyhound move into second place. Darren Martin’s 19 points greatly helped Newburgh Lions overcome Scarecrows, for whom Barry Marshall scored 15. The results of these games were reversed when handicaps were applied. 15 points from Eric Lupton and 12 from Colin MacDonald earned Rugby Hounds a comfortable win over Turks Head Sinners, who drop to fourth place. Despite 17 points from Rob Green, Benchwarmers lost to Hayfield Gang who won their first match of the season. The results of these two games remained the same on handicap. Only two points separate the top six teams so anyone of them could win the league especially Delph Tavern who have a game in hand.
