Fifteen to One

Congratulations to Darren Martin (Unison) who won his heat on Friday. This is available for a few weeks on 4oD.

President's Trophy

Ormskirk lost the final match of the season to champions Southport and Formby by 32 points to 45 to finish in third place in the table.

Highlights Week 19

Division 1:-An impressive 22 points and ‘full house’ from David Sinclair and 15 points from Jim Maloney assured a victory for Newburgh Lions over Rugby Hounds, for whom Eric Lupton scored 15. An equally impressive 23 points from Janet Crompton saw Squigglers home against Abbey Sinners. Despite 22 points and a ‘full house’ from Pat Gibson Colly Wobblers lost to Greyhound for whom John Wilson scored 19 and Mal Collier 15. Debbie Davidson’s 16 points enabled Whippet to overcome Helenians.

Division 2:- Gang of Four beat OCC thanks to 16 from Rob Jones. Parbold Exiles lost to Abbey Saints for whom Barbara Flaherty scored 17. 18 points from Alan Thompson was a major factor in Ormskirk Theatre Company’s narrow win over Aughton Institute. In the other game Legion Lions narrowly beat Ormskirk Farmers. 

Highlights Catchup Week

Congratulations to Unison who have won Division 1. Greyhound finish second due to a two-point loss to Helenians in their rearranged match. Bob Foster with 16 and Dave Boyd with 15 were the high scorers for the winners, with Mal Collier and Andy Francis, both 15, scoring well for the losers. In the Division 2 rearranged match Ormskirk Farmers beat Legion Lions by six points, all players having scores between 7 and 14.

Presentation Night

The Presentation Night will be held at Unison Club in St Helens on Monday April 24th. The finals of the Don Liptrot Trophy and Plate will be played on the night.
