Cup:- Squigglers managed to hang on to their one point advantage on handicap over Rugby Hounds; leading scorers were Janet Crompton (16) and Barry Marshall (15) for Squigglers and David Hodgson (17) for Rugby Hounds. Abbey Sinners held on and increased their 3 point lead over Helenians, thanks to 15 points from Steve Pilkington.
Plate:- Colly Wobblers just managed to pull back a handicap of 25 over Parbold Exiles thanks to 21 points from Pat Gibson and 15 from Andy McGowan, Peter Corris replied with 15 for Parbold. Abbey Saints, thanks to 14 points from Barbara Flaherty and 13 from Kevin Walton made light of a 6 point deficit to Ormskirk Theatre Company and ran out comfortable winners.

Following on from Paul Prior's dramatic win in heat 5 when he scored 'five in a row and a bonus mark' as the fourth player in the last round, Darren Martin (Unison) appears in heat 6. It is on iplayer for a month.
