Despite 22 points from Pat Gibson, Colly Wobblers only clawed back 2 points on Rugby Hounds’ start of 17; Eric Lupton top scored with 19 for the winners. Squigglers overcame a 12 point handicap on Ormskirk Theatre Company winning by 9; Janet Crompton top scored for the winners with 19 points. Whippet also overcame a 12 point start over Gang of Four winning by a narrower margin of 4; Peter Duffy top scored with 17 for the winners. Robin Hood and Ormskirk Tennis Club started level on handicap but Robin Hood, for whom Paul Coffey scored 15, ran out the winners.

The MQL Council has agreed that the 2020/2021 season is cancelled as regards face to face matches. We look forward to meeting again in September.
